Synopsis

Corporate billionaire Edward Cole (Jack Nicholson) and working class mechanic Carter Chambers (Morgan Freeman) are worlds apart.

At a crossroads in their lives, they share a hospital room and discover they have two things in common: a desire to spend the time they have left doing everything they ever wanted to do before they "kick the bucket" and an unrealized need to come to terms with who they are.

Together they embark on the road trip of a lifetime, becoming friends along the way and learning to live life to the fullest, with insight and humor.

Each adventure adds another check to their list.

This is the most beautiful film I have seen in a very long time. It will make you laugh and it will make you cry. The chemistry between Freeman and Nicholson is simply sublime. The performances of all the cast were amazing, again, some of the best work Ive seen in years. This is a movie that should be seen by all - you will not be dissapointed.

I really enjoyed it. Wasn't too sure what to expect. Was funny at times, serious - yet moving. Great cast.

Thoroughly enjoyable and recommended. Wonderful believable performances by Nicholson and Freeman. Everyone who has a somewhat nebulous 'Bucket List' of their own will enjoy the way these characters attack their list. Might be a bit confronting, despite the humour, for anyone who has had to confront a much diminished life expectancy.

The critics who gave it 2 stars must be droids or worse still, politicians. Loved every minute of it... All who have lost, or have nearly lost a loved one, or are soon to go themselves MUST SEE THIS SHOW. Moonie
